John Flaus is a partner in the Rural Team. His range of expertise covers rural conveyancing, asset protection, and relationship property.

He has been a partner at Preston Russell Law since 1993, and prior to that he was a partner at Sumpter Moore in Balclutha.

John is a former Otago NPC rugby representative and has coached Southland age-group teams.

John is also a very talented watercolour artist, who is inspired by the beautiful Southland and Central Otago landscapes, particularly the Wyndham and Riverton areas. John recently held a very successful exhibition 'Hang Five' at the Southland Museum & Art Gallery.
